Google Classroom Instructions for iPad

1. You must first have the Google Classroom App on your iPad. If it’s not there, go to Self Service to download it.

2. Open Google Classroom. It may ask if you are a teacher or a student. YOU MUST CHOOSE STUDENT. If you haven’t used it before you may be prompted to sign into your EASD Google account. Enter your @roverkids information, tap NEXT and then enter your password.

3. You will need to JOIN your teachers class. To do so, there will be a plus sign in either the upper right or lower right of your screen, it will look like this

4. Once you tap the plus sign, choose JOIN CLASS

5. You will be prompted to enter the code that will be providedby your teacher.

6. Once you have joinedthe classroom you should be all set. Ifyou need to join additional classrooms, such as Library or Art,you will go to the upperleft of your screen and tap the three bars:This will take you back out to the main screen, where you can go through the join process all over again. Just tap the plus, enter the code, and you’ll be a member of that classroom also. You can be a member of many classrooms, so that should not be an issue.
