Announcements AWANA CLUBS Awana Parent Orientation & Dinner Monday, 8.26 at 5:00 pm, in the Family Life Center The Awana Leaders will host an orientation & dinner for Awana Clubbers and their parents. ESL - (English as a Second Language) | 8.29 Classes resume Thursday, August 29th at 7pm in room #219-FLC. This is a great community outreach to those for whom English is not their first language. If you know of someone who could benefit from learning conversational English, please encourage them to attend. If you would like to help with this ministry, please contact Mary Dolvin or call the church office. HOPE ROOM CLOTHES CLOSET NEWS The Hope Room is open on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1 - 3 pm. If you are interested in volunteering in this ministry, please contact the church office. If you would like to donate clothing, donations are accepted on Tuesdays & Thursdays, between 1 & 3 pm. The need at this time is for childrens clothing. Beginning in September, donations of fall/winter clothing, including coats & jackets, will be accepted. COLUMBARIUM DEDICATION | 9.1 All church members are invited to attend the dedication service for the new columbarium, located in Osborn Cemetery, on Sunday, September 1 st , at 12 noon (following the morning worship service). Light refreshments will be served and members of the Cemetery Ministry Team will be available to answer questions related to the columbarium and cemetery. LABOR DAY | 9.2 There will be no evening service on Sunday, Sept. 1st, and the church offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2nd, in observance of Labor Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, Sept 3rd at 8am.
