charge for 3-5 day processing option– Expedient Services are

available: next day, same day (Request must be received by 2:00 p.m.) Fees are applicable.

Send Paper Transcripts:

– Send immediately

– Hold transcript for end of current term grade processing

– Hold transcript for recent degree

• Student’s Signature (electronic or written) Required

Certification Request Form• Required when Academic Standing along with Grade

Point Average (GPA) and enrollment verification is required

– Good Student Discount for Auto Insurance

– Summer InternshipOpportunities (PennDOT)

• Request must be signed by student so that we can release their information to a 3rd party.

Student Record Release Authorization

• Student identifies individuals (3rd party) to whom educational record information can be released

– Grades, Dismissal & GPA

– Registration/Scheduling

– Financial Aid

– Housing

– Billing

• IUP is FERPA compliant while allowing families to have discussions in their households to plan expectations

• Note: Authorization is for discussion purposes only –3rd parties cannot request a transcript

Degree Works• A Web-based tool that

enables students and advisors to view a real-time comparison of a student’s academic coursework against program specific requirements.

• This gives the ability to monitor and track their academic progress in order to graduate.
