Radisson Blu Hotel

Overlooking the famous La Côte des Basques surfer’s beach, the Radisson Blu hotel is

a stylish and contemporary four star hotel. Located in the heart of Biarritz and only a short

walk or taxi ride from the city centre where you can find an exciting and eclectic mix

of great restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Contemporary style

The hotel offers 150 spacious and light rooms. The majority of the rooms come with

fabulous views of the town or ocean. The Transat Café and lounge are situated on the

rooftop terrace where you can gaze at the spectacular natural beauty of the ocean or

sip cocktails and admire the sunset. As an aside, we think the hotel serves the best buffet

breakfast in Biarritz to date. The Radisson Blu is a really nice comfortable establishment

which is always very popular with our Biarritz golfing clients … and for good reason !!

Hotel du Palais

Formerly the summer mansion of Napoleon III, Hotel du Palais overlooks the main Biarritz

beach on the Bay of Biscay. The obvious luxury and ageless charm along with outstanding

facilities make it an exceptional place to stay. Now restored it is one of the most beautiful

hotels in France and a true five star establishment. From the moment you drive up to this

impressive hotel you cannot help but be wowed by the majesty of the hotel.

Luxury meets history

The hotel features a spa that has an amazing view of the Bay of Biscay, along with two

large pools and fitness centre.. The hotel has three restaurants, including the Michelin star

Villa Eugénie. It's right on the front and boasts wonderful sea views. It’s a real palace and

has counted royalty among its guests. A truly wonderful and luxurious experience awaits.

Golf d’Arcangues

Golf d’Arcangues is a lovely parkland golf course situated next to a charming Basque

village overlooking the nearby Pyrenees Mountains and located about fifteen minutes

south of Biarritz. A varied and interesting eighteen holes layout awaits you along with a

newly constructed short game area. This is a very friendly and welcoming golf club

Mountains and oak trees

The golf course is beautifully laid out on the many acres of oak trees and meadows that

wind around the Chateau d’Arcangues. Take time to sit and soak up the atmosphere on

the terrace outside the lovely restored 16th century clubhouse before and after your

round. There are fantastic views of the Pyrenees Mountains rolling out before you. This

lovely course really delivers ….. and is always a pleasure,

Real Golf de San Sebastian

This stunning Golf club was inaugurated in 1910 and the club moved to it’s current

location in the mid 1960’s when French professional Pierre Hirigoyen laid out this creative

course on one hundred and twenty five acres of hilly, forested terrain beside Mount

Jaizkibel. With wonderful distant views of the Basque Pyrenees from many of the holes,

playing golf here is a very pleasant experience indeed,

Superb views

This is the home club of golfing legend Jose Maria Olazabal and it is no surprise that

honing his skills here provided him with the talent to later conquer the golfing world in his

prime. One of two jewels in the crown of a San Sebastian golfing experience just over the

border from Biarritz.


Golf de Biarritz

This is the second oldest course in mainland Europe at which a great sense of history

pervades. Understandably so after having been built and tinkered with by legendary

course architects Willie Dunn and Harry Colt. An older type of course, Golf de Biarritz is not

one of the longest tracks you will ever encounter, nor thankfully will the topography leave

you with aching calf muscles .. though it does deserve a great deal of respect.

Old world ambiance

The original Biarritz layout, called Le Phare, as it's located just inland from the town’s main

lighthouse, is a par 69 course. It is relatively short at only 5376 meters, but provides a gentle

and relaxing round of golf. A very pleasant parkland landscape twinned with Augusta

National and a beautifully manicured course. However, with discreet wire like rough, a

plethora of bunkers and fast greens to contend with, Le Phare can bite back !!

Golf de Seignosse

Demanding, beautiful and completely unforgettable … who does that remind me of ?

Golf de Seignosse is a totally enjoyable experience from the moment you arrive in the

newly refurbished and contemporary club house and then later step on to the first tee. A

must play golf course that demands great respect and which won't take any prisoners

Superb creation

If you are a Golf de Seignosse virgin, a golf course planner is a must as some blind shots

and well placed traps await you. A glass of something on the terrace overlooking the 18th

green as the sun slowly disappears on this excellent creation, sets the scene for what is we

hope you will agree is an absolute must visit during your tour to Biarritz.

Navarra and Rioja wine - Vineyard tour

A wine tour in Navarra and Rioja is always a great surprise, mainly because of the

diversity of wines that are waiting to be discovered. Your tour will combine old wineries

with modern ones to understand both the rich tradition of these regions and the

changes that have also taken place. A great accompaniment to your visit to Biarritz

and the unfolding experiences.

The Navarra and Rioja regions of Northern Spain are world famous thanks their grapes

and equality of soil. A kaleidoscope of wineries sprinkled with olive trees in a seductive

region with a character all of it’s own and which produces excellent wines that must

be experienced … including of course tasting.

cooking that Andrée and Stephane Rosier share. They have perfectly mastered the

techniques and associated flavours of their cuisine to a very high standard. A real

Restaurant L'impertinent will welcome you into an intimate and cosy setting for moments

of pure culinary delight, complimented by an attentive and relaxed service. With white

tablecloths, sleek decor and original paintings by artists adorning the walls. For the Chefs

Sarah and Fabian , cooking is an art that takes many forms, all in harmony . Although

seafood is the speciality here, everything on the menu is superb and combined with the

Guggenheim Museum - Bilbao


When it opened in 1997, the Frank Gehry designed Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, a

spectacular structure made of titanium, glass, and limestone, was hailed as the most

important building of its time. Located in the Basque city of Bilbao in northern Spain, the

museum features exhibitions organised by the Guggenheim Foundation and by the

Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, as well as selections from the permanent collection of the

Guggenheim museums.

Eleven thousand square meters of exhibition space are distributed over nineteen

galleries. Ten of these galleries have a classic orthogonal plan and can be identified from

the exterior by their stone finishes. The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a pinnacle in

Gehry’s outstanding architectural career as well as in the field of museum design. It

remains unsurpassed in its integration of art and architecture, Your visit will also include a
