This mixed event is open to all golfers, with individual, couples or team entry. It will take place on the Indiana Course between the 2nd and 4th January 2015. Based on the highly successful format of previous events, you will play two rounds of golf with LET Professionals, help them play 18 holes of ‘speed golf’ and benefit from team clinics.

With top LET professionals attending, a magnificent range of sponsored prizes on offer and other golfing surprises, you will enjoy some competitive golf, professional coaching and a social ambience only found at Desert Springs.

Golf ClinicsA low ration of amateurs to LET professionals in each clinic ensures that each amateur golfer can expect to pick up a range of playing tips and techniques to suit their own game that can be used immediately out on the course. Discuss with your pros over breakfast what you would like to cover and they will tailor the clinic to suit.

Speed GolfThe LET pros team up to provide a continuous flow of shots around the Indiana Course, to complete a round in the shortest possible time with the lowest possible score. Assisted by the amateurs to ensure the pros are in the right place at the right time (and putt out when necessary) the Speed Golf provides a spectacular fast moving round of golf. The record to beat in 2015 is 28 minutes.

Interaction with the Pro’sThe event is set up in way that ensures that all the LET pros spend their time with the amateur golfers in a social environment as well as on the golf course, providing an ambience which is rarely found in Pro-Am events elsewhere.

Prize Dinner at El TorrenteThe traditional closing Event of the Pro Am taking place in the award winning El Torrente Restaurant. A great evening is promised with the fabulous range of prizes presented culminating in the announcement of the 2015 “Golf 4 All” Pro Am Tournament winners.

Reception at the Cave BarThe opening Event of the Pro Am. Meet your fellow Competitors’ and interact with the LET Pro’s whilst enjoying good food and drink in the unique environment of the Cave Bar. The team draw will take place and there will be a surprise or two to make sure the Event is off to a great start.

CompetitionsYour team will be led by a different LET pro on each day of golf. Day 1 is a team stableford Competition, and Day 2 is a Better Ball stableford format. Your two team stableford scores over the two days are then added together to give your team total. Delight in watching your LET pros play the Indiana course in a manner rarely seen at Desert Springs, knowing that how you play will make the difference in the final competition results.

The Townhouses located at La Fuente are set within a private garden of bold tropical colours with direct access to the communal swimming pool and garden area and views that overlook the golf academy.

All living rooms feature fireplaces, and natural wood joinery. High quality fittings throughout, with sleek, fully-fitted kitchen, attractively tiled bathrooms and airy modern bedrooms.

Most have a private patio, but also share gardens, swimming and paddling pools. Each property has a parking area.

ApartmentsBeautifully furnished two and three bedroom apartments complete with air conditioning are set within the securely gated communities of Las Sierras, within easy access of all of the resort facilities.

They are set in courtyards, around swimming pools, gardens and classical Spanish patios; they have a village feel and sense of place.

Gym and the Private ReserveThis is a small, relaxed and pleasant place to tone up and is not intended as a factory style gymnasium. Light and airy, the whole of the front can be opened to take advantage of the pleasant dry climate.

For those who prefer to exercise in complete privacy, there is also the similarly equipped Individual Work Out Area, and Private Sauna and Jacuzzi Suite in the Private Reserve facilities. These can be reserved for private use at the Golf Club House Reception.

Getting hereEasily accessible…Almeria International Airport is the local airport for the Almanzora region and locations of Desert Springs, Villaricos and Playa Marqués. An easy 40 minute drive along the A7, which skirts the Cabo de Gata Natural Park and the majestic Cabrera Mountains, brings you to the Almanzoran Valley.

The region is also served by two other international airports, Murcia, 60 minutes and Alicante 120 minutes away by car, again all via the A7, making the area easily accessible with 2½ hour chartered and scheduled flights from all parts of the UK.
