GoldSeal-SaarGummi India Pvt. Ltd., the 49:51 per cent joint venture of GoldSeal of India and CQLT SaarGummi of EU, was presented the

Make-In-India Award for Excellence – 2015 at a glittering ceremony held at Gandhinagar recently. The gala event organized at the globally famous Mahatma Mandir was attended by Mr. Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for MSME as chief guest, Mr. Govindbhai Patel, Minister of State for Science and Technology, as the guest of honour, as well as chairmen, directors, CEOs and CFOs of leading Indian and MNCs. In all 45 companies were given the prestigious Make-In-India Awards for Excellence – 2015 in different categories.

GoldSeal-SaarGummi has also been presented the Export Merit Award by the All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) for its excellence in exports during 2014-15.

GoldSeal Engg. Products Pvt. Ltd. has received the AIRIA Export Merit Award, in addition to the EEPC Ex-port Excellence Award in the Small Enterprise category, for its outstanding contribution to engineering exports in 2013-14.

GoldSeal-SaarGummi India Pvt. Ltd. is the coun-try’s pioneering manufacturer of “Innovative” sealing profiles of EPDM RUBBER Weatherstripping for OEMs in India such as Ford, VW, GM, Mahindra, Tata, etc.

In March last, GoldSeal-SaarGummi opened its third extrusion plant in Ahmedabad to meet the ever-increasing demand for innovatively de-signed and developed EPDM rubber weatherstrips of new-generation OEMs who are continuing to invest in auto manufacturing facilities to make India a global manufacturing hub for small cars for export to world markets.

The plant was completed in a record time of eight months from purchase of five acres of industrial land on the Sanand–Viramgam highway to putting up a purpose-built shed of 8,000 sq. mtrs. to install a state-of-the-art mixing compounding facility and the instal-lation of five continuous vulcanizing EPDM rubber extrusion lines for the manufacture of innovative weather stripping profiles for auto customers. w
