Gold Award Presentation 2006 Gold Award Presentation 2006 of The Hong Kong Award for Young People was successfully held on Wednesday, 7 th February 2007 at Loke Yew Hall, The University of Hong Kong. We were honoured to have the Hon. Donald Tsang, GBM, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as the Guest of Honour to present the Gold Award Certificates and the Certificates of Appreciation of 10 years’ service. There were 107 Gold Award recipients this year, even including the deaf-disable. They came from 11 Operating Authorities, which include Award Operating Authority, Schools Operating Authority, Chinese Y.M.C.A., Civil Aid Service, H.K. Playground Association, Hong Kong Police, H.K. Sea Cadet Corps, Scout Association of H.K., The H.K. Federation of Youth Groups, The H.K. Girl Guides Association and the Vocational Training Council. The Chief Executive not only presented certificates to the Gold Award recipients, but also presented certificates to 20 volunteers who have served the award scheme for 10 years as appreciation and recognition. The Award Scheme would like to thank the Hon. Donald Tsang, GBM, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for being the Guest of Honour and The University of Hong Kong for offering the venue and all necessary facilities for this ceremony. Our Guest of Honour presented the Gold Award Certificates. The Council members greeted Mr. Donald Tsang at the entrance. Mr. Donald Tsang entered the hall, accompanied by the Chairman of the Award Council. Mr. Donald Tsang left the hall under the applause of the recipients. Gold Award Presentation 2006 of The Hong Kong

Award for Young People was successfully held on

The University of Hong Kong. We were honoured

to have the Hon. Donald Tsang, GBM, the Chief

Executive of the Hong Kong Special

Administrative Region as the Guest of Honour to
