The Development Bank of Jamaica Limited (DBJ) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders in the category of Safety and Security Services for Security Services at its Head Office at 11a-15 Oxford Road, for a period of three (3) years.

Receipts of Bids: Bids (one original and one copy) shall be deposited in the tender box located in the Foyer of the Development Bank of Jamaica Limited (DBJ), 11a-15 Oxford Road, Kingston 5, on or before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 24th June 2016.

Tender Opening: Tenders will be opened in the Conference Room on the Ground Floor of the DBJ on Friday, 24th June 2016 at 3:15 p.m. Tenderers or their representatives are invited to attend the opening.

Late bids will be rejected.

The DBJ is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point before the award of contract with-out incurring any liability to any of the participants.

1. Ministry of Labour & Social Security now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Renovation of Office Interior, 4 Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay, St. James. Bid No: MLSS/LCB/SJPO/11-05-2016

2. Scope: “the installation, taping and finishing of wall board, sheathing and suspended ceilings made of gypsum or other suitable materials for non-structural portioning. The fabrication, installation, remodeling, repair and finishing of wood and wood products such as doors, windows, cabinets and fixtures. The installation, finishing and repair of floor and wall coverings”. The renovation period is for six (6) months.

3. Bidders must possess a valid Tax Compliance Certificate and must be registered with the National Contracts Commission Grade 2 or higher in the category “Building Construction” in order to participate.

4. Bid Security: Two Hundred Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$200,000.00)

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Labour & Social Security; Owen Whitely, owhitely@mlss.gov.jm and may purchase the Bidding Documents for a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Dollars (J$2,000.00) payable by cash or manager’s cheque at the address given below from Monday, June 6, 2016 – Friday, June 10, 2016 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

6. Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box located at Conference Room E, 1st Floor, 1F North Street of the Ministry of Labour & Social Security on or before Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Late Bids will be rejected.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 2:05 p.m. (Friday, June 24, 2016).
