• To be made in the image of God is to be made in the image of the Holy Trinity

• Free and able to know and love others

• Our belonging to the community of humankind is at the very core of who we are

• Three divine persons are forever united with each other in mutual love

• Continually collaborate, sharing as one in all activities

• Distinct yet completely equal to each other

• Though three persons, they are one God, always acting in unanimity

PHILIP 2:3-5Don’t let selfishness and prideful agendas take over. Embrace true humility, and lift your heads to extend love to others. Get beyond yourselves and protecting your own interests; be sincere, and secure your neighbors’ interests first.

In other words, adopt the mind-set of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts.

JOHN 17:20-23I’m praying not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me because of them and their witness about me.

The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, so they might be one heart and mind with us.

Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me.

The same glory you gave me, I gave them, so they’ll be as unified and together as we are—I in them and you in me.

Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that you’ve sent me and loved them in the same way you’ve loved me.
