The unprecedented situation arising due toCovid-19 in the State,

Paramount importance to the safety ofCandidates and examination Personnel,

GBSHSE (Board) vide Circular No: 22dated 03/06/2021 cancelled the BoardExams for Class XII which were to be heldfrom 24th April 2021 to 18th May, 2021.

Circular 29 dated 25/06/2021, Policy document forTabulation of marks of Class XII an objective criteriondeveloped by the Board to prepare the result.

Result committee constituted in each of the Higher SecondarySchool headed by Principal of the school.

Class XII result is prepared based on internal assessment ofclass XI (30%), class XII (40%) and performance of class X(30%).

Moderation of marks is done to maintain subject averagebased on historical performance of the Higher SecondarySchool.

Opportunity to appear in the Board Examination tocandidates who are not satisfied with this result afterforfeiting result prepared through objective criterion.

Supplementary examination will be conducted by theBoard for those candidates who are placed in“Needs Improvement” category or who havewithdrawn their application forms as and whenconditions are favorable to conduct theExamination.

Private/ITI candidates/ Repeater candidate andcandidates applying for improvement of marksshall have to answer board examination as andwhen the situation is favorable to conduct theExamination.

No Policy of Verification of Marks/ ProvidingPhotocopy of Answer Books/Re-evaluation.
