The joy of spring leads us to the summer season, where all the kids are pre-paring for the Holy Communion, Confirmation or the final exams and summer vacation. I wish to offer my prayers and well wishes to all of you for a beautiful summer vacation.

One of the graceful things that happened in our Diocese last summer was the celebration of the Episcopal Ordination of Mar Joy Alappatt. Our Diocese was splendidly blessed by this Episcopal Ordination on September 27, 2014. We thank the Lord for his presence, good health and all his great contributions to the Diocese and the faithful.

The Episcopal ordination was witnessed by many of you in person and through the media. To complete the celebration of the Ordination, it has been decided that a memorable pictorial souvenir book be released on September 27, 2015 with all the facts, greetings and pictures of the Episcopal ordina-tion of Mar Joy Alappatt.

I earnestly request all of your cooperation with the souvenir committee, to participate in this event, based on the brochure attached herewith. Kindly work with your assigned Pastoral Council member to coordinate with the souvenir committee. The souvenir will depict our faith, our cultural richness, our tradi-tional bind and will be a testimony of the historical event in our Diocese. Let it pictorially tell it to the people and the generations beyond us.
