1. Keeping in mind that Jericho is any attitude or mindset that keeps us from joy, peace, or rest, identify what might be keeping us from living in our Promised Land.

2. Read Joshua 6:2. What does God say He has done? What must the children of Israel do?

3. What does it mean to be a co-heir with Christ? How can we be more God-centered?

4. Explain the difference between fighting for victory and fighting from victory.

5. Looking at 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, describe what happens when we apply the weapons of our warfare.

6. Recognizing that a stronghold is a false premise that denies God’s promise, setting itself against the knowledge of God, what are some of God’s tools that can help us overcome in this area? If you find you are stalled and wandering in the wilderness, take a moment and ask God to reveal the stronghold that is holding you back from your Promised Land.

7. “We are more than conquerors through [Christ]” (Romans 8:37) and “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13) both speak of victory. Share how you have been successful in applying these scriptures to a spiritual battle in your life.

As we conclude, remember the following:

• God wants us to step into our Promised Land. • He has already given it to us, so we must receive it. • Satan does not want us to receive our inheritance. • We are in a spiritual battle with Satan but should not fear him. • We can overcome Satan’s attacks because God has given us the

weapons to overcome.

I am more than a conqueror and a co-heir with Christ! Lord, help me to remember that although I am in a spiritual battle, I should not fear. You will help me to overcome and be victorious. I lift up my Jericho to You! Thank You for helping me pull down that stronghold. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
