OPTION 1 HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION (Available Year Round)

GV CalgaryAccommodation Options

Our accommodation options, apart from homestay, do not offer weekly rates. Placementfee for all types of accommodation is $220 CDN (non-refundable). All non-homestayaccommodation requires students to be at least 18 years of age.

All non-homestay accommodation is subject to availability. A minimum of 6 weeks noticefor the booking is required for both Short term and Long Term Guest Accommodation.Accommodation needs to be paid to Global Village in order to book alternativeaccommodation.

OPTION 2 Bed and Breakfast (Available Year Round)

Located about 20-30 minutes by Light Rail Train (LRT) to downtown Calgary

• Lounge area with TV and wireless internet connection• Breakfast included• Some rooms include own TV

OPTION 3 UNIVERSITY ACCOMMODATIONS Located about 20 minutes by Light Rail Train (LRT) to downtown Calgary. Prices do not include additional charges or GST (5%). All university accommodation is also subject to availability; there may be limited availability in the busy summer season.

Short Term Guest Accommodation

Hotel Style• Available year round• Included in room: mini-fridge, microwave, wet bar, private bathroom, free continental breakfast,

TV in room, internet hook-up/connection available, parking, free access to gym and pool, localtelephone. No other cooking appliances allowed.

• Rooms equipped with queen bed (regular room) or king bed (suite)

• Rates depend on size of hotel room and seasons; see below:

Regular Hotel Room: Prices $130/ nightPrices $180/ night (During Stampede/ July)

One Bedroom Suite: Prices $170/ night

Prices $215/ night (During Stampede/ July)

Dorm Style• Available mid-May to mid-August• Included in room: two single beds, desk, dresser, mini-fridge with shared bathroom, no phone

in room, internet available at additional cost. $25 per extra person per night but no extracot/bed can be provided. Rooms based on 1-2 person occupancy.

• Rates $65/ night, $85/ night (During Stampede/ July)

Studio or 1 Bedroom

• Available mid-May to mid-August•

Included in room: two single beds, private washroom, full kitchen, internet connectionavailable. $25 per extra person per night but no extra cot/bed can be provided. Rooms basedon 1-2 person occupancy.

• Rates $95/ night, $115/ night (During Stampede/ July)

Long Term Guest Accommodation (Available Year Round)

2 Bedroom Apartments • Fully furnished, fully equipped apartments—all appliances, kitchen equipment,

linens, etc; washer/dryer included on the same floor as the apartment • Two bedrooms, both with queen beds, private washroom, fully equipped kitchen,

and living room.• Includes all utilities, cable television, DVD Player, internet access, and free calling

within North America, each room has its own phone number, phone charges are anadditional cost

• Price $2200/ month• Limited availability

Housekeeping for Long Term Guest Accommodation

Room is supplied with linens and towels. Housekeeping services are not provided on adaily basis. Full housekeeping service is scheduled once a week. Basic household items(toilet paper, dish soap, garbage bags, etc.) will need to be purchased by the guest duringtheir stay.

*$500 deposit required upon booking. This is non-refundable should the guest decide tocancel within 1 month before arrival.

OPTION 4 Furnished Apartments (Available Year Round )

Located in the downtown core, about a 20 minute walk from GV Calgary. Great for students who need accommodation for approximately 1-3 months and do not wish to stay in homestay, or for students coming to Calgary with their families.

Fully Furnished and Equipped

• Each suite is tastefully furnished and fully equipped with everything one needs for day-to-dayliving. We provide fully equipped kitchens, including microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, electrickettle, cookware, dishes, flatware, utensils and glass ware. All linen and towels are suppliedas well as an iron and ironing board. Each suite contains a large color remote TV

and reception of over 50 cable channels is included in the monthly rent.

• Every suite in these apartments has a spacious balcony with floor to ceiling double windowsliding doors which provide great views to the north and south, as well as the Rocky Mountainsto the west.

Services, Amenities

• Housekeeping is provided twice a month and is included in the basic monthly rent.

• Weekly housekeeping is available upon request (for an additional fee)

• Shaw High-speed internet and a land-line phone are available upon request. Themanagement of this apartment will be happy to make the connection arrangement for you, forno hook-up fee. Shaw will bill you direct for your monthly charges

• Fitness facilities, billiard room, library, coin-operated laundry facilities in the building, parking(surface or underground available)

Prices:

• November to March (Low Season)- 2 Bedroom: Approx. $1995/ month

1 Bedroom: Approx. $1775/ month

• April to October (High Season)- 2 Bedroom: Approx. $2195/ month1 Bedroom: Approx. $1875/ month

*$250 deposit is required to hold the apartment that would be refunded back to studentupon inspection of apartment and departure.
