anintroduction

Organisations, teams, people now juggle priorities within a

24/7 world of connections. This new world of work requires the ability

to manage higher levels o f p hys i c a l a n d c u l t u r a l d i s t a n c e

between colleagues, customers and business partners... for example...

matrix working increases our need to influence a wider range of culturally diverse and geographically distant stakeholders

global teams now need to connect, focus, evolve and achieve without ever meeting face-to-face

professionals need to balance local and global reporting relationships across increasingly dispersed organizations where even dotted lines are blurred.

networks come together ‘on the fly’ for tough projects with loose membership

All these contexts demand an ability to collaborate in a world where trust and shared identity must be built with minimal or zero

face-to-face contact

but also…

A wide variety of employees require practical skills to create connection through technology and they need cultural

self-awareness to successfully connect with others in different locations

How can you equip your organisation, your teams and yourpeople for these global virtual challenges?
