“Josh Hall has project managed two of my last three round theWorld races and so it is no surprise to me that his own race was ahuge success. The Class 40 is a great concept for a boat and theGlobal Ocean Race is a fantastic event for them. It provides anaffordable platform for sailors with dreams and budding professionalsalike. I expect to see some of Josh’s skippers lining up against me inOpen 60 races before too long.”Alex Thomson, Open 60 Skipper – Hugo Boss

“I am excited to be racing a Class 40 this year. They are a fantasticboat for racing around the buoys or indeed around the world. Josh Halland his team have certainly created a highly competitive and cost-effective event for Class 40 skippers to test their skills on a global racecourse”. Mike Golding, Open 60 and Class 40 Skipper – Ecover

“An awesome test of tenacity, fortitude and determination. Josh Hall’sGlobal Ocean Race is one of the few inclusive ocean races, whereprofessionals can race alongside private owners with a dream. Theboats can withstand the test of the Oceans and yet are much moreaffordable compared with the Volvo and IMOCA boats. Teams canpush hard and then rest and enjoy the fabulous stopovers. This racedeserves to flourish.” Dee Caffari, Open 60 Skipper – Aviva
