Well ServicePrior Diesel is a leading designer, manufacturer and provider of well service equipment since 1995. Products supplied to the global oil and gas market include nitrogen converter units, fluid pump units, coil tubing units, hydraulic power units and wireline units for onshore and offshore applications.

Many years of experience in the field has enabled development of a multi-disciplined design and build capability and specific tailored services. Bespoke open skid, acoustic split skid and trailer mounted configurations can be produced to exact customer requirements, alongside our core product range. All Prior Diesel products are designed and manufactured to the highest standard and meet the required relevant classification and certification standards, including DNV and Bureau Veritas. Equipment can also be designed and certified for areas requiring ATEX Zone I and II Hazardous Area, NORSOK, Safe Area and CE compliance, as required.

Prior Diesel works in partnership with its customers to understand their needs, enabling precise specification, efficient build process and on-time, on-budget, delivery of quality equipment. Customers are kept up to date with build progress reports throughout the manufacturing process and rigorous quality control inspections are implemented at each stage of the build.

A60: Engineered CabinsA full range of A60 DNV 2.7-1 offshore workspace and accommodation modules are designed and produced for the global oil and gas and renewable energy industries.

Used as offshore accommodation, laboratories, control centres and workshops, the A60 modules offer a turnkey solution to suit a diverse range of applications to meet customer requirements.

With the growing demand for onshore and offshore temporary cabins, the company’s in-house engineering team can provide a complete solution for working in hazardous environments.

The A60: Engineered Cabins are designed to DNV 2.7-1, DNV 2.7-2, EN12079, NORSOK and ATEX standards.

Well Service: Servicing and Remanufacture Prior Diesel has the ability to service, repair, upgrade and maintain all types of well service equipment returned from field operations.

From routine maintenance, or minor modifications through to complete remanufacture, the company’s in-house team provides a complete, tailored solution to meet customer specifications.

This can be a cost effective solution to extend the life-cycle of critical oilfield equipment with minimal downtime, providing confidence that equipment will perform correctly and safely when it is required.

Cryogenic Service CentreCombining purpose built facilities with over 25 years of experience, the Cryogenic Service Centre at Prior Diesel offers full servicing provision and overhaul for equipment including cold ends, boost pumps, triplex pumps and valves.

Services range from routine maintenance to complete service exchange components ready for dispatch. Bespoke cryogenic pipework is also offered and manufactured to suit application.

Cryogenic service engineers are available to support customers’ worldwide from onsite analysis to installation. New components from a wide range of leading manufacturers are also supplied and can be shipped to global destinations.

Prior Diesel’s first class facilities and expert personnel enables the company to repair a vast array of cryogenic equipment available on the market today.

Engine SalesWith an extensive dealer status, Prior Diesel’s Engine Sales Department can supply a diverse range of new and reconditioned diesel or gas engines, suitable for a wide scope of well service equipment, marine commercial, marine leisure, power generation and industrial applications.

Modern emission compliant engines ranging from 20 to 3000 BHP can be packaged with a choice of diesel driven equipment including industrial open power units, electropaks, generator sets, fire pump sets, jetting units, hydraulic powerpacks and ATEX Zone II flame protected engines. Where required, units are packaged to comply with legislative and major classification authorities.

Working closely with partner suppliers and customers, from engine specification throughout installation, testing and commissioning, guarantees a product perfectly matched to requirements, offering high performance and reliability. ServiceA worldwide repair and maintenance service is provided for the extensive range of engine manufacturers represented by Prior Diesel.

The service department conducts complete engine overhauls and servicing, as well as refurbishing existing diesel driven equipment and components, including air starter motors, transmission and auxiliary equipment. The repair and refurbishment of a wide variety of pumps to manufacturer’s standards is a specialism.

Prior Diesel’s highly skilled factory-trained workforce are experienced problem solvers and are available to work on-site or off-site whether that is onshore or offshore, or at any global location.

Our custom built facilities are designed for optimum safety and functional operation with overhead craneage, cleaning facilities, electronic diagnostic equipment and engine load testing facility (up to 2000 BHP dynamometer).

PriorBuilt Engine RemanufacturePriorBuilt engine cores are completely stripped down and remanufactured with all parts measured and delivered ‘as new’ to verify compliance with propriety OEM specifications. They are fully tested in-house on an engine dynamometer for guaranteed performance.

Complete reconditioning of diesel and petrol cylinder heads is also available along with crankshaft refurbishment.

The company completes all work in-house offering a fast turnaround time whilst maintaining a strict emphasis on supplying a quality product.

Marine ServicePrior Diesel’s marine department provides complete mechanical, fabrication and pipework services for commercial vessels and leisure craft.

Support is provided for a wide range of vessel types. Core services include voyage repairs, system upgrades and modifications, sea fastening works, special surveys and damage repairs. Specialist expertise includes mechanical, steelwork, pipework, outfit and general repair.

The marine team has many years of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the 24 hour marine environment and vessel movements. All services are provided with a focus on efficiency and ensuring minimal downtime.

The department’s core skills and experience are also deployed into managing complementary non-marine projects including bridge repair contracts, industrial pipework, such as hydraulic water and sewage systems and industrial plant maintenance.

Preventative Maintenance and Fuel Treatment ServiceAn extensive range of preventative and reactive maintenance services is available for all diesel driven plant and machinery, from standby generators to nitrogen convertors. Our tailor-made solutions ensure that equipment is kept in prime condition, ready to operate whenever it’s required. These solutions include scheduled maintenance, 24 hour emergency call out and fuel sampling, analysis, contamination removal and fuel polishing services.

Prior Diesel is able to offer on-site fuel polishing for stored diesel, bowsers and drums. Our range of mobile fuel polishing units incorporate the latest technological breakthrough in diesel filtration. They are capable of cleaning fuel at rates of 50 to 1000 litres per minute with the ability to reduce water content from over 10,000ppm to 200ppm and particulate content down to 1 micron in just a single pass. At the same time, highly effective biocide treatments can be implemented to breakdown ‘diesel bug’, so that too is removed.

Bespoke fuel polishing units can also be designed and manufactured to client specification.
