IE Business School does not assume any responsibilityof any of the costs of health care of any studentduring the period of the Global Immersion Experience.

Each student must assume the whole responsibility ofcarrying adequate health insurance.

TRAVEL POLICIESCancelations Reminder

IE Business School reserves the right to cancel anyGlobal Immersion Experience for any reason before thedate of departure, including lack of sufficientenrollment. In such cases, IE Business School cannotassume the cost of individual travel arrangements madeby participants. For this reason, it is highlyrecommended that participants purchase travelinsurance.

If a participant cancels after the 22nd of February 2016for whatever reason, IE Business School will charge thema fee of 600€ for those signed up, which is equal to the

program costs incurred by the school.

IE POLICIESWhat kind of behavior is expected from participants?

Commitment:

• All activities are mandatory

• Punctuality = Respect to the rest of the group

• Students who do not attend 100% of the activities will not receive a certificate

Group Behavior:

• We will be representing IE Business School

• Dress Code: Business / Business Casual Attire

• Traveling with a large group of people demands a keen understanding of group dynamics

Individual Behavior:

• Please show maximum respect to the political environment of the country you will be visiting

• Carry cash, as you cannot always pay with your credit/debit card

• Be aware of local laws, since ignorance of the law is not an excuse in most countries

Academic Excellence ScholarshipsIE offers eight scholarships

PLEASE NOTE:

We reserve the right to not offer scholarships to students that don´t meetthe academic excellence requirements.

Students awarded scholarships must accept the flight that IE selects.

• Students have until this date to accept a second option if not accepted in their first choice

• All students enrolled in their first option have until this date to opt out of the trip without a penalization charge (see commitment

letter)
