I am used to working with 5 x NOV 14-P 220 mud pumps and I am extremely competent and efficient at working on them on my own or with an assistant. Every shift I would relieve both Assistant drillers for breaks and or extended periods. I have been working as derrickman now for a number of years and I am more than confident that I would slot right in to an Assistant drillers position. Drilling package is fully automated with TTS/CAMERON equipment which I have been trained to use and i am familiar with. I have been acting Asst driller for the last four hitches here also. Job Role:- Reviewing with the mud engineer/fluid supervisor as to the aspects of the mud program for current operations and conditioning drilling fluids for going in and out of hole and recording all information. Being part of a team during cement jobs, work overs and completions. Inspection of the pump room, pit room and any chemical stores under my supervision and relaying any information necessary to my asst driller/driller or tool pusher. Meetings with other members of the drill crew to outline the details of the current operation and or any changes. Working along side and supervising the drill crew with many tasks such as nippling up/down the B.O.P stack and or any changes needed with the flowline, slipping and cutting drill line, working on any machinery on the drill floor, tending to the N.O.V 14P 220 mud pumps that we use including full fluid end inspections, assisting the mechanics on any work needing done on the power ends of the pumps, maintaining mix and charge pumps, maintenance on the Keppel Fels mud mixing system which includes a sack slitter, augers and two mixing hoppers, maintenance on any automated or manual valves throughout the rig. Working with my assistant and teaching him anything that he may need to know in the pit room regarding pit volumes, weights and viscosities. Helping my Asst understand the mud mixing system, and how to maintain the mud/charge/mixing pumps. Bulk transfers to and from the boat. On occasion relieving the Assistant driller for meal breaks, mainly when tripping in or out of hole and filling in the trip sheets. Occasionally running the NOV knuckle boom pipe handling crane to lay drill pipe on the drill floor to be made up and racked back.
