String quartet ‘Con Fuoco’ was founded in 2005 by musicians from three different countries. The quartet,
with Turkish violinists Imge Tilif and Güldeste Mamaç, French violist Marion Plard and Spanish cellist Iris
Azquinezer obtained the first place in Chamber Music Competition of Detmold College of Music.
Quartet Con Fuoco has attended master-classes with famous musicians as Andras Schiff, Xenia Jankovic,
Eckhard Ficher, Hanseins Schneeberger, Heime Müller, U. Anime Mathe, Lukas David, Aaron Berovsky and
performed many concerts in various cities of Italy, Spain and Germany. By having attended to Ernen Music
Festival of Sweden each year, they had the opportunity to play and work with very famous musicians.
Young musicians continue their education in music with Auryn Quartet in Detmold College of Music and
Alban Berg Quartet in Madrid Reina Sophia College of Music with Günter Pichler.

İmge Tilif
İmge Tilif, born in Bursa, Turkey in 1986, has started her music education in 1998 in İzmir Dokuz Eylül
University with Kartal Akıncı. She has participated in various resitals, chamber music and orchestra concerts
that were arranged in many cities of Turkey.
In 2002, she has taken place in International Youth Symphony Orchestra in Bremen and she worked with
musicians like Lukas David, Suna Kan and Pierre Amoyal in many masterclasses.
In 2004, she was accepted to the violin class of Lukas David in Detmold College of Music. With Lukas David
Ensemble, she performed in many concerts in Turkey, Greece, Spain, Italy, Austria and Thailand as soloist
and chamber musician. She played Max Bruch Violin Concerto with Lübbeck Symphony Orchestra and
Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with Detmold Chamber Orchestra, İzmir Yaşar University Chamber Orchestra
and many other chamber orchestras of Germany. In 2008, she has performed as chief violinist in China Tour
of International Hannover Symphony Orchestra. Also, with Hochschule Orchestra conducted by Sir Roger
Norrington, she attended concerts where she played as chief violinist as well.
Between 2007-2009, she has played as chief violinist in Detmold Chamber Orchestra conducted by E. Fischer.
After graduating with ‘very well’ degree in 2009, İmge Tilif, still continues her master education in Chamber
Music Department of Detmold College of Music with Auryn Quartet and ‘Solo’ Department of Lübbeck
College of Music with Professor Elizabeth Weber. Also, she continues her practices in Madrid Reina Sophia
College of Music with full tuition scholarship.
Güldeste Mamaç
Güldeste Mamaç, born in İzmir, Turkey in 1989, started her musical career by playing the piano at the age of
7. After having part-time music education until the age of 13, she passed the entrance exam of high school
degree of İzmır Dokuz Eylül University and started her education there with Arif Manaflı. During this period,
she has played in Dokuz Eylül University Symphony Orchestra.
In 2003, she has attended the masterclass of Professor Aranovic Godsdiner from Moscow College of Music
and in Ayvalık Music Academy, she met Professor Lukas David. After graduating in 2006, she has attended
the violin class of L. David in Germany. In 2007, she has attended Professor Roman Nodel’s masterclass in
Mannheim and played as second violin section leader in Bayreuth Tonkünstler Orchestra.
Between 2007-2009, she has given concerts as soloist, chief violinist and first violinist in Detmold Chamber
Orchestra conducted by E. Fischer. At the same time, in many orchestras as Rias Youth Orchestra, she had the
opportunity of working with famous conductors as Sir Norrington and Ariel Zuckermann.
Mamaç, still continues her music education with Lukas David in Detmold College of Music and her quartet
education with Günter Pichler in Madrid Reina Sophia College of Music.
Marion Plard
Born in 1987 France, Angers, Marion Plard started her musical career in 1993 in Angers International College
of Music by playing the piano and viola. After graduating with ‘very-well’ degree in 2006, she attended the
entrance exam for Madrid Reina Sophia College of Music (Escuela Superior Música de Reina Sofia) and she
was chosen to practice with Diemut Poppen. During this period, she has taken place in Netherland Youth
Orchestra, France Youth Orchestra (Orchestre Francais des Jeunes), Detmold Chamber Orchestra (Detmolder
Kammer Orchester) and Reina Sophia Symphony Orchestra and she has given concerts with world-famous
musicians and conductors as Jesus Lopez Cobos, Antoni Ros Marba, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Zubin Mehta,
Zoltan Kocsis, Stefan Lano, Jordi Savall and Jean-Jacques Kantorow. She has participated in masterclasses of
Rainer Schmitd, Marta Gulyas, Günter Pichler, Heime Müller, Alisdair Tait, Radovan Vlatkovic, Eduard
Brunner for chamber music and for solo permormance, she practiced in masterclasses of Bruno Giurana,
Atar Arad, Kim Kashkashian and Hariold Schichtig.
Young artist, continues her education in Detmold College of Music (Hochschule für Music Detmold) with
Diemut Poppen and Corinne Cantardo since 2009.
Iris Azquinezer
Sara Iris Azquinezer Escribano was born in Madrid in 1984. Born into a family of artists, Escribano, started
her career in music in 1996 with cello and piano.
In 2003, after graduating from cello and piano departments of Teresa Berganza College of Music
(Conservartorio de Música Teresa Berganza), she continued her education with Xeina Jankovic in Detmold
College of Music (Hochschule für Musik Detmold). During this period, she has given many concerts in various
countries and attended masterclasses with world-famous musicians as Marco Rizzi, Eckhard Fischer, Gerhard
Weinberger, Andras Schiff, Anner Bylsma, Marcio Carneiro, Gerhild Romberger, Diemut Poppen, Stephan
Haack, O. De Pinto and Trols Svane.
In 2008, she has won a scholarship from the competition of Detmold Alumni-Vereins Aassociation and she
has graduated with a degree of ‘very good’ in 2009.
Young artist, still continues her master education in Soloist, Chamber Music and Orchestra departments of
Detmold College of Music and plays as the cello section leader in Detmold Baroque Academy.
