Other RequirementsOther Requirements
• The LOF requirements are captured in LAT-SS-01783– All workstations at the LOF are PC based (either Windows or Linux)
• No requirements for real-time commanding operations, all real-time commanding is performed at the MOC
• Command files are built off-line and verified by the test bed• Primary requirements for workstations are:
– Display of housekeeping telemetry– Display event messages, including command files– Telemetry processing control– Alarms and notifications– Storage of daily and weekly trending reports
– Local housekeeping telemetry storage• Up to 7 days on local workstations
– Expect approximately 0.6 GB/day, 4.2 GB/week– With today’s technology of 300 GB disk in PC’s, that’s 71 weeks
worth of housekeeping telemetry– Typical connections
• Internet (LAN and/or WAN)• Phone/Fax• Video
– Presentation in section 6 addresses the software and tools for LAT operations
