Basic Materials and Tools : Cleaning Fluids / Thinner / Glass Cleaning Solution or Nail polish

remover Painting surfaces (Glass, Mirror, Clear Plastic, Acetate Sheets(transparent sheets) or Bottles ) Glass Colors (Fevicryl or creative craft) as you prefer

Solvent based (Requires Brush)

Water based (Small bottle with nozzles)

Outliner (Black Color) Cotton Buds & Cotton roll (Cotton buds are invaluable for mopping up the mistakes.)

So lets Start……Step---1Clean your glass with dry cotton then with Glass Cleaner or Thinner.

Step ---2Set your design or pattern under the Glass on a plain surface like Table.

Step---3Use the Outliner and draw the design over the glass.

Techniques: Reverse (back to front) design Outlining – Recommended

Normal (same angle & direction) design Outlining

Continue……

Step---4Then let the Outliner dry for some time, say 10 to 20 minutes.

Step---5.Color it as you wish. Cotton buds serves as an eraser.

Final StepLet it Dry....

and now your First Glass Painting is ready.

Frame it and hang it.

# 4 Beginners start with designs having wide areas to paint rather the very intricate designs

# 6 Custom colors, and darker or lighter variations of colors, are achieved by mixing colors together.# 7 If you want to give shading (e.g under water effect) to the glass colors, you can give light shades in certain areas, also leave certain areas blank and fill few with dark colors.
