A big thank you to all parents who assisted on the day. I’m sure there were many very happy dads. Election Day Our school was again used for the elections and several hard working parents ran a BBQ for the school. This was a great success our school parsley was also a great seller. Gladstone Views Movie Producers Mrs Donaldson and I were very fortunate to judge the Grade 5/6 students movie productions. They were a credit to both the students and their teachers. FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Preps for 2014 Over the last two terms we have been conducting numerous

tours around the school for prospective prep students for

next year. We would like to finalise numbers for 2014 as

soon as possible. The response has again been fantastic with

numbers already close to this year’s enrolments. We know

that there are still quite a few families who have not yet

enrolled. Please encourage anyone that you know who are

looking to enrol to contact the school as soon as possible

Fathers’ Day Stall

We had a very successful Fathers’ Day stall thanks to the

hard work of many of our parents. A big thank you to all

parents who assisted on the day. I’m sure there were many

very happy dads.

Election Day

Our school was again used for the elections and several hard

working parents ran a BBQ for the school. This was a great

success our school parsley was also a great seller.

Gladstone Views Movie Producers

SPORT NEWS

District Athletics: Last Friday a group of dedicated students represented Gladstone Views at the Annual District Athletics Carnival. The students put in a competitive performance with a total of 14 schools competing in the events. Thank you to Mr Woolcock for supervising the students on the day. Also thank you to Mrs Kamvissis for running the triple jump events and to the parents who came along to support our students. The winners of our Chocolate Drive Fundraiser were announced at assembly on

Monday. The winners were as follows:-

1st Prize - Jamie C 5/6B 2nd Prize - Alex K. 5/6A 3rd Prize - Kyle J. 5/6C

A special prize for selling the most chocolates was presented to the DeKeizer family.

Each winner received a $60 Coles/Myer voucher.

You might be wondering what the Trade Fair is?

The Trade Fair is where all the Grade 5/6 students

sell items that we have organised and made. We will

use the profits from the Trade Fair to pay for the

Grade 6 Graduation for both this year and 2014.

During class time tomorrow all grades will be given

the opportunity to come along and purchase items

on sale. Goods will be priced from 50cents to $5.

So remember tomorrow, bring along your money for

the awesome products that will be available at the

G.V.P.S Trade Fair!
