This con- cert will feature The Bram Winands Trio. Bram is a very popu- lar piano player who plays "stride piano" (and hence usually doesn't use a bass). KANSAS CITY JAZZ - TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9 - Twice each year we go to the Polsky Theatre located at Johnson Coun-ty Community College to enjoy a live one-hour jazz concert by some of Kansas City’s most talented jazz musicians. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

CANCER ACTION WORKSHOP - This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 9:00 - noon at the Gladstone Community Center. Their main goal is to make bed pads for cancer patients. There are many jobs to do and they don’t all involve sewing. Call 423-4086 for more information.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued in the event of a trip cancellation due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds are available up to the registration deadline. If a refund check is required, a $5 processing fee will be deducted. After registration deadline, a refund will be issued only if the participant can be re-placed. If participant desires, a credit will be issued for the entire amount for use in future programs.
