Inter-collegiate Cross Country conducted at Karjat College, Karjat, Raigad.

Girls team has been awarded with third prize, 6 girls achieved bronze medal,

The cultural cell of the college jointly observed Death Anniversary of

Lokmanya Tilak, &celebrated Birth Anniversary of Annabhau Sathe. On 1st

Aug. Namita Vaidya, has been invited as a speaker who took a studious

preview of Lokmanya Tilak‟s educational, political and journalism‟s outlook

and Annabhau Sathe‟s painful childhood, his feelinbgs towards the

downtrodden his voluminous literature.

The cultural cell has celebrated teacher‟s day on 5

occation of birthday of late President of India Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan

with great enthusiasm. F.Y.B.A. students speech about their favorite

professor‟s virtues. On behalf of the teaching staff Prof. jalindar Jadhav &

Prof. Prasad Bhagwat garland the image of Dr. Radhakrishnan. Principal Dr.

Thombare, speak in the programme.

Reading Motivation Day-Vachan Prerna Din

Celebrated Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam‟s Birth Day as “Reading

Motivation Day - Vachan Prerana Divas”, the joint programme of the

library & cultural cell. Hon. dignitaries garlanded image of the great

scientist. The library arranged several books for the exhibition. Shri.

Dhananjay Gurav, the librarian, endeavored to make students be

acquainted with the books authored by Dr. Kalam and alongwith this he

spoke about multiple new magazines and issues. Likewise he adviced

students for frequent visits to the library for book reading.A practical

was conducted for making students familiar with e-learning.

Celebrated Guru Pournima

On 19th

July, “Gurupournima” has been celebrated enthusiastically in

the college. F.Y.B.Com students express their gratitude in the traditional

way. Recitation of “Shlokas” exploring greatness of Gurus took place. All

professors reciprocated the gratitude shown by the students.

Youth Festival, Mumbai University

University of Mumbai organized Youth Festival 2016-17 wherein the

14 students participated in various activities. Those are Clay Modeling,

Rangoli, Painting, Vocal Music, Solo Song, One Act pay, Skit,on the sopt

painting etc.

Lokmanya Tilak

The cultural department of the college observed death anniversary of

Lokmanya Tilak, the father of Indian unrest & Annabhau Sathe, theliterary

luminary, jointly. On 1st Aug. Namita Vaidya, teacher of New English & Jr.

College Patpanhale has been invited as a speaker who takes a studious

preview of Lokmanya Tilak‟s educational political and journalism‟s outlook

and Annabhau Sathe‟s painful childhood, in his feeling towards downtrodden

his voluminous literature.

Aug. 2016 birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister late

Shri. Rajiv Gandhi has been celebrated as “Sadbhavana Divas” in the college.

All the professors & students swore the oath after garlanding the image of

great soul. “Sadbhavana Sharyat” has been organized and the cultural

department conducted the whole programme.

offer flower offering to the both leaders. Principal Dr. Thombre dispenses

guideline for the programmes.

Reading Motivation Day

(Vachan Prerana Day) Celebration of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam‟s birth day as “Reading

Motivation Day - Vachan Prerana Divas” is the joint venture of the library &

cultural department. Hon. dignitaries garlanded image of the great scientist.

The library arranges several books for the exhibition. Shri. Dhananjay Gurav,

the librarian, endeavors to make students be acquainted with the books

authored by Dr. Kalam and along with this he speaks about multiple new

magazines and issues. Likewise he advises students for frequent visits to the

library for book reading. A practical was conducted for making students

familiar with e-learning through many sites.

Nov. 2016 is celebrated as “Constitution Day”

with great enthusiasm. Principal Thombre illustrates the formation & features

of constitution. He explores the greatness, vitality & integrity of constitution.

He extents and quotes that every student must accept the fundamental

principles of our constitution. Principal Dr. Thombare & the guest in honor

garland image of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. T.Y.B.A. students conduct group

reading of the draft of constitution, fundamental rights guiding principles,

fundamental duties. The cultural department of Patpanhale college organizes

a programme to offer tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the creator of

constitution of India under the guideline provided by Principal Dr. Y.K.

Thombre. Principal Vijaykumar Khot of Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu College,

Margtamhane is the guest in honor. Teaching & Non-teaching staff pay

gratitude towards him by kindling candles & tribute to him by keeping two

minutes silence.

Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary

It should always be kept in mind that after transcending many

adversities & humiliations, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule & Savitribai Phule

opened doors of education to the downtrodden people. Prof. Giriraj Pande

D.B.J. College, Chiplun efficiency unfolded the life story of first lady teacher

and the poetess Savitribai Phule who bequeathed a bulky literature. She

ensnared the students by distributing eatable things, whichproved later the

foundation stone of “Mid-day meal scheme”. Women honoring different

positions in distinguished sectors are just following her footprints. Principal

Dr. Y.K. Thombre advocated introspection and follow up of ideologies put

forward by the great souls. In the very inception of programme, hon.

dignitaries and students paid flowral tribute.

Jan. 2017, in Patpanhale College on behalf of police

department “Armament Exhibition day” was celebrated. Under the guidance

of Police Inspector of Guhagar Mr. Pradip Misar, many programmes was

undertaken on occasion of Police Rising Day. Police friend Babasaheb

Rashinkar tried to educate student about cyber crimes and how to avoid them.

51st Inter-Collegiate Youth Festival 2018 arranged by Mumbai University

at Ramraje College, Dapoli on 7th

August 2018. In this festival nine students

of the college participated in individual events. It was zonal primary

completion. From these 9, 3 students achieved success. For this achievement,

Hon. Chairman Shri.Bhalchandraji Chavan congratulated the students &

wishes good luck for the journey ahead likewise, all office bearers of the

On this day cricket matches of girls students were conducted in which

five teams participated. T.Y.B.Com won the match and F.Y.B.A became the

runner up. Along with these, fish pond event was organised. To make these

event more satisfying, Iic Cream treate was given to the students.

The annual gathering is organised on these day at Palpene road,

„Bhavani Sabhagraha‟ on10 a.m.on respected member of Patpanhale

Education Society mention there presence. Principal Dr. R.G.Jadhav

addressed the student in his residential speech.All students won laurels in

different spheres like sports, cultural and so on for college hasbeen

appreciated by awarding trophies and certificates at the hands of

dignitaries.In the event of annual gathering in all 23 programme of different

style have been celebrated.For the success of these 6 days programme

Social Justice Day Celebreted

On the occasion of Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj's 144th

birth

anniversary and Social Justice Day, the function was celebrated on 26/6/2018

in a cheerful atmosphere. The program was organized by the Head of the

Cultural Department Prof. Jalindar Jadhav, Prof. Pramod Desai, Prof. Prasad

Bhagwat, Dr.Dinesh Parakhe, Prof.Prajakta Shinde and students of the

college were present in large numbers. Prof. Pramod Desai gave a brief

overview of the work of Maharaj by giving various examples of how Satyaji

was the proponent of Rajarshri Shahu Maharaj.

Celebration of Constitution Day

Constitution day was celebrated in the college. Dr. Sanaye P.T. I/C

Principal of the College, The image of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was offered

to Pushpa. I/C Principal Dr. Sanaye P. T. is the Constitution of the country,

which is the largest Constitution in the country, which is the most democratic

in the world. She is flexible. Regarding the fundamental rights and rights of

ordinary citizens of the Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has made

significant contribution to the creation of this Constitution. The book was

exhibited by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on behalf of the library. College

Librarian for this. Shri. Dhanjay Gurav and library attendant Shri Parsharam

Chavan took the initiative during this time. Head of Cultural Department

Prof. Jalindar Jadhav, Prof. Pramod Desai, Prof. Prasad Bhagwat, Dr. Pravin

Sanay, and students of the college were presented.

Celebration of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary

188th

birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule was celebrated in the college. The programme was arranged by the Cultural Department of the college.

Principal Dr. R.G. Jadhav spoke on the life and works of Savitibai Phule particularly with regard to women‟s education on this occation. All faculty members also

were present. Prof. Pramod Desai and few other students also spoke on this occation.

The birth anniversary of Yashwantrao Chavan at Pathanhale College was celebrated by the Cultural Activities Cell of the College. Principal Dr. R.G. Jadhav

garlanded the portrait of Yashwantrao Chavan. Prof. P.A. Desai and all the faculty members were present on this occasion. Prof. J.S. Jadhav offered vote of thanks

at the end of the programme.
