GIS Conversion and Integration – GeoDecisions specializes in GIS conversion from paper, CAD, and most other formats to our Esri® ArcGIS®-based ElectriMAP® software. Utility data is captured and stored with supporting spatial accuracy and vital attribute information as part of a geometric network in the geodatabase. The geometric network allows modeling of flow and connectivity for the entire electric service area. Easy-to-use data placement tools greatly improve data accuracy through the use of placement rules while significantly reducing the effort of maintaining your data with custom forms and drop-down fields. Additional ElectriMAP functionality detects network issues, analyzes protection ratings, propagates data, and verifies connectivity. Common data, such as substation, feeder, phase, and voltage are all automatically updated when switching status changes. ElectriMAP integration modules enable the GIS to leverage other electric utility application data, as well as export to other software applications. Query-based reporting with configurable levels of detail allow users to quickly compile key information related to their electric network.

Custom Vegetation Management Application – The GeoFUSE Vegetation Management Application can be customized for each individual client to map, record, and report data for trimming, spraying, or mowing. The data input forms are designed for thorough, rapid data collection from the field or in the office. Simplified, in-depth query and reporting tools allow users to custom build a report with as much or as little information and detail needed. Automatic email notifications keep users informed of areas due for maintenance, restriction warnings for property owner refusals, or no spray zones.

Web-based Mapping Solutions – Mapping sites contain components common to most spatial web applications, such as feature-rich map display elements and navigation, query, and printing tools. GeoDecisions has successfully implemented a number of web-based mapping sites designed and deployed for internal or public use. Data can be made available securely through the internet or through a utility’s internal intranet for viewing specific data such as outage conditions.

Garmin Utility Data Integration – GeoDecisions can load your GIS data, including conductor, service locations, poles, devices, substation boundaries, etc., into Garmin global positioning system (GPS) units. With Garmin GPS units, linemen and field personnel will have access to current GIS infrastructure and associated attribute data rather than working with bulky, outdated map books with limited information available. Additionally, field personnel can route to specific line, pole, service, device, or substation locations efficiently, with no street address required.

High-speed Alert Notification System – The Rapid Response System is a reliable, robust high-speed alert notification system designed to deliver phone, email, or text messages to customers. With its user-friendly, web-based interface, the Rapid Response System has the ability to contact thousands of customers within minutes of a known or scheduled outage. Rapid Response empowers utilities to generate precise alert lists and send automated messages from computers and mobile devices. Real-time reports and detailed call summary reports provide critical information to ensure maximum system effectiveness.

GIS Data Updates – GeoDecisions provides GIS data update services designed to bring an existing database up to date, or as part of on-going GIS support. Our efficient and highly skilled GIS analysts can assist with any backlog of updates that may have accumulated, improving the accuracy of the existing data. Our ortho alignment process enables poles, service locations, substations, and other infrastructure to be accurately aligned with high-resolution ortho imagery.

Certified Esri Training – GeoDecisions has certified Esri trainers on staff to provide standard Esri training, as well as customized training to meet each utility company’s specific needs. Additionally, we can provide support staff to assist with ongoing technical questions and software installation, both virtually or onsite.

Asset Management and Tracking – An effective asset management and tracking solution allows utilities to better respond to their infrastructure needs. GeoDecisions provides GIS-based enterprise asset management solutions, complete with tracking technology hardware and a high-end intelligent mapping interface. The system integrates and displays live-vehicle tracking, near-real-time weather, and active route conditions in a map format through a single, secure interface. Transportation infrastructure information is pulled from more than 400 data sets, providing current data on roads, bridges, tunnels, road conditions, construction, and traffic incidents.
