With Armani’s invention of the jacket in 1975, both men and women’s fashion were reinvented. The jacket came to represent the growing authority of women and the liberation of men from the protection they used to hide their insecurities. His constant modernization of fashion has allowed for his clothing to break away from monotonous ways of dressing and symbolizes the idea of power dressing for both sexes.

CONCLUSIONMy model draws from the strong angles seen in the suit jackets of Giorgio Armani, which have remained modern and relevant throughout time. The progressively growing linear elements represent the flexibility that will exist in the office, creating different spaces to suit the comfort needs of each employee. The one patterned center shape represents the minimalism seen with few patterns throughout Armani’s designs, while the neutral (white and gray) and bold (black and red) showcase their mix of contrasting colors in their fashion. The mirror surface represents the beauty and elegance of the brand, and serves to reflect all of the brands elements to the viewer (employees).
