with steamed white rice$ %he kalabasa, also known as pumpkin or squash, adds an
earth" &a#or to the dish, complementing the taste o' the shrimp$ %he sitaw, also known
as string beans, introduce a 'resh taste and light crunch to the stew$ ou will need
approimatel" *+ minutes to cook ginataang shrimp with kalabasa and sitaw$ %his recipe

Ingredients
• . tbsp$ #egetable oil
• . cup chopped onion
• * tbsp$ minced garlic
• * pcs$ green chilli
• . lb$ shrimp, peeled and de#eined
• * cups peeled and cubed squash (kalabasa)
• / cups string beans (sitaw)0 cut into / .1/″ length
• . tbsp$ maggi magic sarap• . .1/ cups coconut milk
• / tbsp$ 2sh sauce
• .1/ tsp$ ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions.$ 3n a skillet saute chopped onion and minced garlic in oil o#er a medium heat and
stir 'requentl" until the onions are browned and the garlic is 'ragrant$/$ 4dd the peeled and cubed kalabasa and simmer 'or - minutes$ Stir in shrimp and
sitaw, then continue cooking 'or another * minutes adding 2sh sauce, pepper and
maggi magic sarap$*$ 5our in the coconut milk into the skillet, bring it to a boil and then add the greenchili$ Co#er the skillet and continue simmering until #egetables are cooked andcoconut milk becomes a little thick$

'rom the 2sh #endors in #olumes 3 opted to bu" some but actuall" don>t know what to do
with it$
Coming across some tuna recipes 'rom the net, 4dobong %una caught m" attention and
decided to prepare it 'or dinner but with a twist 'rom the usual adobo in so" sauce$

onl" with garlic, ginger, pepper, salt and sugar, added with eggplant and some sliced
chili 2ngers to add a little kick$ %il then 3 didn>t know that tuna tastes e#en better with

Chicken Menudo
Ingredients:• / boneless chicken breast cut into thin bite si:e slices
• . teaspoon o' lemon or kalamansi 7uice
• . white onion chopped
• clo#es o' garlic minced
• .1/ teaspoon ground black pepper
• * tablespoon o' so" sauce
• / teaspoons o' tomato paste
• hal' a cup o' tomato sauce
• * tablespoons oli#e oil or an" cooking oil

/ carrots cut in cubes• . medium si:e bell pepper cut in cubes
• . large potato peeled and cut in cubes
• .1/ cup green peas (pre!cooked)
• .1/ cup water
• . teaspoon sugar
• . teaspoon maggi magic sarap

.$ Start b" miing in a small bowl the lemon 7uice, so" sauce, tomato paste and black
pepper$ Mi well$ se this a marinade 'or "our chicken, marinate 'or at least hal'an hour$/$ 4'terwards, heat a pan and pour the oli#e oil then start stir 'r"ing carrots and
potatoes until edges becomes brown$ 9hen done tras'er in a plate and set aside$*$ 3n same pan with the oil sauteD "our garlic, onions and marinated chicken$ Co#er it
and let it simmer in low 2re 'or about ten minutes$$ Eet add the carrots, potatoes, green peas and bell pepper continue stirring then

Buko 5andan Salad
Ingredients
• / cups "oung coconut strips (Buko)
• / cans condensed milk (big can, about *IIml a can)
• * cans nestle cream (small can about ./+ml each can)• . pack powdered gelatin buko pandan &a#or (i used Mr$ Gulaman brand)
• cups water
• * drops green 'ood coloring
• / cups small tapioca pearls, cooked (optional)Cooking Procedure
.$ Combine water and powdered gelatin then stir using a spoon$/$ 4dd 'ood coloring then stir until e#er"thing is e#enl" distributed$*$ Heat a saucepan and pour!in the miture$ Bring to a boil while continuousl"
