Paynesville Jazz Festival

The Wizard and Oz appeared first, Andrew Farrell (The Wizard), one of the finest piano

players in the country, totally unique. I have never seen anyone do what he can do,

from classical to todays music, together with Dave McMillan’s (Oz), dynamic guitar playing and amazing

voice. There is no way to explain them other than to say; they are mind numbingly spectacular.

The Wizard & Oz (Andrew Farrell and David McMillan) from Melbourne provided a feast of

popular musical styles, and had the audience captivated by brilliant piano and guitar playing,

along with relaxed solo and duo singing. I love Davids gravely voice, and the obvious

communication and musical feeling between these two. I think we were all blown away by the
