Taking the initiative of helping the economically

underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008,

FIITJEE constituted FORTUNATE 40 – A Program to

provide World-Class Training to serious Students from

Financially Weaker Backgrounds and empowering

them to achieve their Goal of Success and Top Ranks

in JEE & Other Competitive Exams.

The program financially supports capable Students

soon going to Class IX & Class XI and whose total

parental income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per month.

FIITJEE supports these meritorious Students in

their preparation for achieving their dream goal,

by awarding 100% scholarships for FIITJEE program

& 100% waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated

School Program, the school fee will be charged from

the Student (at some locations scholarship on school

fee may also be awarded). The FORTUNATE 40

batch for each program, at each location, will have

a maximum of 40 Students only.

Students will have to appear for a selection test on

Sunday, 2nd February 2020. Selected Students

will be notified and admitted to the program with 100%

scholarships.

The final discretion of award of scholarship in each

case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be

final and binding on the candidate.

1. Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers

will be decided on the basis of combined performance

in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. Performance in Paper 2 will

be considered only for those Students who qualify

(i.e. clear minimum cut-off marks) in Paper 1. Students

must appear in both the Papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2

to become eligible for any Program Fee Waivers / Hostel

Fee waivers.

2. The final discretion of awarding the fee waivers for

FIITJEE programs & hostel fee waivers in each case will

remain with FIITJEE management and this decision will

be final and binding on the candidate.

3. If a Student scores negative or zero marks in any subject

of any paper of the Test, then the Scholarship, if awarded

will be scaled down by one slab.

4. Fee waivers for FIITJEE programs & Hostel Fee

Waivers are valid for the select mentioned programs

only. Students enrolling with benefits (Scholarship for

FIITJEE Program / Hostel Fee Waiver) associated with

Fortunate 40 selection test, cannot join any other

institute in any form. In case the Student joins another

institute, all the benefits given will be withdrawn and

FIITJEE can also take action against such Student.

5. Hostel fee concessions (if any) are valid only for

FIITJEE’s associate hostels / lodging & boarding facilities

(wherever available & for male Students only) made

available through FIITJEE, subject to the Student joining

that particular hostel and availability of seats. The

concession will be given monthly between April, 2020

to May, 2024 for joining Four Year Classroom Program /

SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program for JEE

Advanced, 2024 OR between April, 2020 to May, 2022

for joining Two Year Classroom Program / PINNACLE -

Two Year Integrated School Program for JEE Advanced,

2022 and only for the duration of Classroom / Integrated

School program. The Hostel Fee concessions (if any) are

valid for the above mentioned programs only. The hostel

fee concessions (if any) will be paid directly to the hostel

owner by FIITJEE. Hostel fee concessions (if any)

is for accommodation only. Food, transportation

& other personal expenses are to be borne by

the Students. To avail this concession, Students

must have Optimum Performance in Phase

Tests & National Level Tests and a minimum of

90% monthly attendance in their respective

Classes at FIITJEE. Please note, Hostel facility is

available at select FIITJEE Centres only.

6. FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any

program, eligibility criterion without prior notice.

7 (a). The registered office of FIITJEE is at New Delhi. All

disputes and differences of any nature whatsoever

shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the

Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings

shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of

the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory

modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The

award of the Arbitrator shall be final & binding. It is further

agreed that in spite of the fact that the Sole Arbitrator

may be known to any of the Directors or shareholders or

may have been appointed as an arbitrator earlier by the

company shall not disqualify him. Even if the Arbitrator

may have expressed an opinion in a similar matter earlier

shall also not render him disqualified. The seat of the

Arbitration will be New Delhi / Delhi.

7 (b). Subject to Note 7 (a) hereinabove, the exclusive

Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in New Delhi / Delhi

Courts only.
