- §a t©n ng÷ cña c©u chñ ®éng lªn lµm chñ ng÷ cña c©u bÞ ®éng. Ta ¸p dông s¬ då sau :Active:

Passive: S + be + Vpp + by O

E.g: Active : We collect waste paper Passive: Waste paper is collected by us

- Trong trêng hîp nÕu cã 2 t©n ng÷ ( 1 trùc tiÕp, 1 gi¸n tiÕp), muèn nhÊn m¹nh vµo t©n ng÷ nµo th× ngêi ta ®a nã lªn lµm chñ ng÷(nhng thêng lµ t©n ng÷ gi¸n tiÕp lµm chñ ng÷).

VÝ dô:

I gave him a book.

hay I gave a book to him.

(Trong c©u nµy book lµ t©n ng÷ trùc tiÕp, him lµ t©n ng÷ gi¸n tiÕp, ta ®æi:

He was given a book by me.

- Thêi cña ®éng tõ ë c©u bÞ ®éng ph¶i tu©n theo thêi cña ®éng tõ ë c©u chñ ®éng.

II. Thì tiếp diễn với always: 1. Structure: S + am/ is / are + always + V ing

2. Usages: - Mang ý nghĩa than phiền về điều gì:Ex :You are always getting up late in winter.

->Mai is always getting up late in winter.- Hành động được lặp đi lặp lại trong quá khứ gây cho người nói sự bực mình, khó chịu.Ex: He was always losing his keys.- Hành động hoặc sự việc tình cờ xảy ra rất thường xuyên.Ex: I’m always meeting Mrs. Blake in the supermarket.- Hành động có tính liên tụcEx: He’s always working

III. The present perfect tense : a/ Form:(dạng): thì hiện tại hoàn thành đc thành lập của trợ động từ Have và quá khứ phân từ(past participle) của động từ chính. S + has/ have + p.p (past participle)Ex: I like this film. I have seen it many times.b/ Use:(cách dùng): thì hiện tại hoàn thành dùng xác định để diễn tả:- Hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ không xác định thời gian:Ex: I have met that man but I can't remember his name.- Hành động vừa xảy ra : với phó từ just(mới vừa), lately/ recently(mới đây)Ex: He has just gone out.- Hành động lặp lại với các nhóm từ three/ four/several times.Ex: She has gone to HCM city twice.- Mối liên hệ của quá khứ với hiện tại bằng các nhóm từ phó từ như: before, so far, up till now, up to the present, ever(trong câu hỏi), not... ever/ never, yet, not... yet, already..Ex: Lan hasn't ever appeared on TV before.- Hành động xảy ra trong qua khứ còn tiếp tục đến hiện tại với since và for.* For + khoảng thời gian :

IV. Câu yêu cầu và đề nghị: Mind- Cấu trúc này thường dùng để yêu cầu người khác làm việc gì một cách lịch sự.

* Nếu đồng ý ta có thể chọn các cách sau đây:
