Dear Parents,

We are very excited about our theme for 2013: Gifted for

Greatness.

Our school, our learners, our parents and our staff each have

a special gift. We know that if each one of us uses our gift to

the benefit of others, the environment and the school, we will

indeed create greatness!

The Grade 8s have settled in well. They made us proud with

their Grade 8 Concert. All Grade 8 parents must please try to

attend the Grade 8 Tea and Picnic on 26 January at 09:30.

Your daughter needs you here on Saturday!

We are looking forward to our Inter-House Athletics Meeting

on 1 February. School closes at 11:00. The athletics meeting

starts at 12:00 and will finish at about 18:00. We need our

parents to support the girls in their quest for Inter-House

Athletics glory! Please arrive early to enjoy the afternoon with

us.

There is a compulsory home weekend after the athletics. All

girls must go home. There is no bus transport on Friday; only

for the return on Sunday.

Included are the most important dates for the next two

weeks.

Overseas Tour: England, France & Switzerland

12 Day Science and Technology TourThere are 25 Learners and two Educators going on this tour

overseas during the July holidays. They leave on Monday 24

June and return on Friday 5 July. We are also taking a group

on the same tour during the December Holidays. We still have

a few vacancies for these tours if you would like to send your

daughter.
