NDR Infrastructure


� National Data Centre Building and its IT/DM infrastructure have been set up:


o Power Room (UPS and AVR)

o Schneider Cooling (Environmental Control System)

� Transcription Equipment

o 3592 Tape Drives

o LTO 5 Tape Library



� Successfully collaborated with GNPC (Ghana’s NOC)

to transcribe all legacy Seismic Data onto 3592 tapes.

� The Oil for Development (OfD) program with Norway

Petroleum Directorate and Oil and Gas Capacity Building

Project (OGCBP) funded by the World Bank are providing

Support and Training for improved management of the

National Data Centre.

� The Commission has completed the setting up of a Data Room

for data room visits by IOCs, etc.



� Consolidation of all the various E&P data (both legacy and current) onto a

Centralized Corporate Data Store:

o Survey data, Well and Wellbore data, Documents

� Implement a 3-Tier Data Architecture

(Working, Reference and Corporate Datasets)

to enhance Data Visibility and Access Control
