Rainbow Button RB 42 2M XI is a capacitive button for installation behind non-conducting
materials like glass, acryl glass, etc. Installation behind conducting surfaces (e. g. mirrors,
conductive lacquer) is only possible with particular installation (see page III.8.103).
This button comes with an additional potential-free alternating contact and a monitoring
circuit. The monitoring circuit automatically checks the function of the button at an
interval of 24 hours. This ensures increased function safety of the button. Thus, RB 42 2M
XI can be employed as emergency call button.

Sensor module for saving energy: version with external motion sensor
PS 42 EMC LS serves for switching off modules depending on the ambient brightness and the presence of persons.
It comes with two independent outputs, two digital inputs, a light sensor and a motion sensor. The desired function of the outputs is configurable. It has a close detection range, i. e. it only detects objects which are right in front of the motion sensor. The detection distance can be adjusted between 20 cm up to approx. 1.5 m. The distance to an opposite surface must be at least 0.5 m.
