These treasures directly from off the coast of Nova Scotia are a wonderful addition to pastas, a great complement to other seafood favourites such as lobster, and fantastic for making upscale hors d’oeuvres - great when wrapped in bacon and served on a skewer! Not only do scallops offer a flavourful experience for your guests, but a nutritional experience as well.

Preparation and HandlingKeep frozen. Thaw under refrigeration 8 hours before use - thawing at room temperature or under runningwater is not recommended. For best results, gently dry thawed scallops with paper towel before preparing.

Place scallops in a pan with butter or olive oil. Cook at medium heat until scallops are opaque throughout - making sure to flip scallops to ensure both sides are cooked evenly. Cook time will be approximately 5 - 10 minutes depending on the size of the scallops being prepared. Try adding a squeeze of lemon for added flavour!

Shelf-life: 12 months frozen.
