You may have heard about the unexpected burglary
in our school. If you would like to find out more
about what happened, then read on.
On Monday 19th October, a shocked teacher found
that Red Area was a wreckage. She reported it to
Mr. Clare, who then let the police know about the
devastating event. Unfortunately, many things had
been stolen: laptops, iPads, charitable donations
and club funds.
Three year groups were stolen from and the office
was practically destroyed. The police seem to think,
due to evidence, that the burglar(s) entered the
premises on Saturday, during the day. Everyone was
affected once they had heard the bad news. The
Year 4s were particularly affected but the Year 6 s
kindly offered them their classrooms for the morn-
ing until break. After that, the poor Year 4s had to
work in the hall and on the playground (for PE) be-
cause they couldn’t go back to their area.
Luckily, some of our rightful property was returned.
It was found under a prickly bush in our school
grounds but the police are still investigating the
crime scene to discern the culprit. If any you have
any information about this crime or if you find any
of our stolen property, please let the office know.

The New Build
During the previous term and the summer holidays, you might have heard a lot of banging about. Well you’re about to find out all about it. Balfour Beatty and Carney Construction have been working extremely hard to build our new extensions. We had to extend our school as the pupils’ popula-tion has increased at our school to the most that it ever has before.
Here are some cool facts about the new classrooms. Fact 1: Our lights dim down as well as brighten up depending on the light outside. Fact 2: There is a new TV/smart board in each new room and a couple of other classrooms are lucky enough to get a new smartboard too! Best thing is, its wire-less connection! There's no need to worry
about tripping over wires as there are none! Eesaa from the new classroom explains, “ I love the new lights in the classroom as I think they are really cool. Also, the new TV is a great attraction and children actually want to come to maths. Plus the new furni-ture is very comfortable.”
The Year 3 and 6’s are really enjoying their new and im-proved classrooms. We have handfuls of gratitude towards Balfour Beatty and Carney Construction.
Halloween!!!!
Top Facts
1) Halloween is 6000 years old.
2) If you wear your clothes inside out then walk backwards then you will see a witch at midnight.
3) If you’re really scared of Halloween then it’s called ‘samhainophobia’.
Halloween is the time of year when children have scary costumes and get candy.
If you don’t know what to wear here are a few ideas.
