Despite the weather a great day was had by all. Congratulaons to everyone who ran, threw or jumped to their best ability and a special congratulaons to Jamie and Myles for achieving age champions. Book Week Book Week is just around the corner! This years Book Week theme is Reading is my Secret Power”. We would like to invite all families into our school to celebrate this event. Firstly, we will be having a family trivia morning from 9am – 11am. Aſter our trivia morning please stay and share morning tea with us. While this is happening, in the Library we will have a book sale of brand new books, all at a great price of only $5 each! This is a cash only sale. Please return your completed trivia team sheet by this Friday - a parent on each team would be best. Also, dont forget that as part of our Book Week celebraons, K—6 will also be going on an excursion to the Wellington Library and the Wellington Caves on Tuesday 20th August. Students will need their recess, lunch and a water bole. Sports uniform is to be worn and school mes will be as normal. STEMSHARE Day Thank you to Tanya for running another STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Day with us all. Students learnt all about the filming techniques of camera angles, story boarding and eding. Our produced films will be on show at the end of Term 3 assembly. Rail Safety Week Thank you to our presenters from John Holland for a very informave talk to all students on the importance of rail safety. Xavier is the quiet achiever in the classroom, who is always trying his best with all activities. He is now a far more confident speller and is enjoying reading aloud to his classmates. He is a kind and caring friend in the playground. Well done Xavier!
