LoG into Vidyo1. To download VidyoDesktopTM, use
your web browser to enter the URL of the VidyoPortal that you want to connect to. Open the downloaded file and double click the Installer
ScheduLe a conferenceCreate Vidyo email inviteWhen in your room, from the top of the participants list, click the Envelope Icon to invite guests to join your room for a multi-point conference.
Host a conference in your own room1. To join your room, click your name in the contacts list.2. Click Connect to your Room.
Join a conferenceMake a direct call or join someone else’s room1. Search for, then select, a contact from the list.
A fly-out box appears.2. To join the contact’s room, select their name then
Connect to Room on the fly-out box.3. Click Connect Directly to place a point-to-point call.
2. Login to VidyoDesktop with your organisation’s VidyoPortal URL and username and password. Then click the Log in button.
3. Once you click the login button, your Contacts List appears

Create a Vidyo calendar inviteClick the Calendar Icon at the top of your contacts list to generate a new calendar appointment with joining details included. Add particpants and send the invite.

GettinG Started with Vidyo
View a list of all the conference participants and chat with them individually; invite participants to the conference
Select which application or screen you wish to share in the conference.
Mute, unmute, and control your microphone volume.
Chat with all participants as part of the conference group chat
Toggle between the applications or screens that are being shared during the conference.
Mute, unmute, and control your speakerphone volume.
Select how to view the participants’ video windows during the conference, and control the maximum number of windows.
Toggle your self-view preference.
Open the settings page.
Toggle between the conference duration and a clock.
Enter and exit full screen. Show or hide the video feed from your camera. End the conference.
ManaGe your conferenceManage participants1. Open Control Meeting from the bottom of the contacts list.
The Control Meeting page will open in your browser.2. The icons at the top are for global control of participants.3. Use the icons next to a participant’s name to mute their
camera or microphone or to remove them from the conference.
4. In your own room you can also access these controls from the participant list - click on a name to see options.
Add a participant to your active conference1. To add a participant to your conference, click the
Add Particpant icon.2. Search for the participant’s name in the Search Field and
click Invite.3. The participants will hear a ringing tone and see a message
on screen with the option to Answer or Decline.

Set a Moderator PIN A Moderator PIN allows you to delegate control of your room. Follow the steps above and set a Moderator PIN where indicated.

Create a meeting invite email.4. Record your meeting by clicking the Red Dot.5. Access your recording library by clicking the 3 Green Dots.
Set a Room PINOpen the Control Meeting page (see above). Click the button with 3 dots. Set a Room Pin (3-10 characters).
