Changes made in the Standard

• Risk management has given place in the updated standard

• The process approach is incorporated in the standard

• QMS requirement in the organization is added in the standard

• Annex A, B and C is also given place in the new version of standard

• An updated version of the ISO 9001:2015 has been made and was issued on 03 June 2013

• The standards received negative views from 12 countries and about 3,000 comments that are not in favor of the standard.

• To conclude at the final decision ISO has organized voting of the standards which is started from 10 July 2014 and will go till 10 October 2014.

• The final revised standards will be get issued only after the final voting

Terminologies changed from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015

• Work Environment to Environment for the operation of processes

• Product to Product and service

• Supplier to External Provider

• Document to Record

ISO 9001 India standard will receive an upgraded version in year 2015
