WEEKEND EVENTS SCHEDULE Brady Street Sprints Finals: Thursday, July 27 • 7 p.m. 5th and Brady Street Running Wild Sports & Fitness Expo & Packet Pickup: Thursday, July 27 • 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, July 28 • 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Arconic’s Jr. Bix: Friday, July 28 • 6 p.m. Quad-City Times 500 East 3rd Street • Ages 5 and under start and inish on E. 3rd St. • Ages 6-12 start and inish on E. 4th St. Genesis Carb It Up: Friday, July 28 • 5 – 8 p.m. $10 Adults, $5 Kids Bufet (12 and under) Quad-City Times Bix 7 & the Swiss Valley Quick Bix: Saturday, July 29 • 8 a.m. BIX BANDS Want to play in front of 20,000 fans? Here’s your chance for the ultimate jam session! The Bix 7 has openings for bands to play along the course. Contact Rick at 309-737-1994 for more information. ARCONIC’S JR. BIX This children’s event is for kids 12 and under. There will be various distances for kids depending on their age. Last year’s Jr. Bix 7 was more successful than ever. There will be a limit of 3,500 children this year. You must sign up early to ensure a spot in this year’s race. Everyone gets a medal, free food and a Jr. Bix t-shirt! Register Today at register.bix7.com/ registration-info/ ISLE CASINO HOTEL BETTENDORF BEAT THE ELITE Win $2,500 Cash! An event where anyone has a chance to cross the inish line irst! All Bix 7 entrants who register for the Bix 7 before June 14, 2017 will be eligible. Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf will draw at random a name from those registered. This person will be given the opportunity to race and beat the overall winner of the Bix 7 road race. The person selected will be given a head start, 2-3 miles, possibly more, depending on the needed handicap to make the event competitive. If the chosen runner “beats the elite” to the inish line, he or she will win $2,500! IOWA AMERICAN WATER BIX AT 6 & BRADY STREET SPRINTS The Iowa American Water Bix at 6 training runs start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 and 29 and July 6. It’s a Bix tradition! Special note: Runners who register at one of the training runs or volunteer will receive a special “Bix at 6” t-shirt FREE. The start line is at the intersection of 4th and LeClaire Streets. Parking is in the Quad-City Times parking lot. Preliminary time trials for Brady Street Sprints 7 pm on June 22 & 29 and July 6 Finalists will compete on Thursday, July 27 for cash prizes.
