PREPARE FOR BACK TO SCHOOLWhile you’re enjoying the lazy days of the summer holidays, don’t forget to have your child’s eyes tested as part of those back to school preparations. THE BIG SUNGLASSES SWAP FOR SUMMER CONTINUES!Last month we kick started our drive for the Big Sunglasses Swap by offering a £10 voucher towards a new pair of sunglasses in exchange for your old and unwanted ones - so we can get everyone wearing properly fitted and protective sunglasses this summer! To help spread the word we’ve already exhibited at Thrapston Charter Fayre, opened the practice for Rothwell Carnival, and we’ve got more events lined up… look out for us at the Dragon Boat Race - Wicksteed Park (August 31), the Big Olney Food Festival (September 6-7), and the Lubenham Scarecrow event (September 13). We have stalls where we’ll be giving away vouchers and at some events we will be able to test your sunglasses UV protection levels for you there and then. Make sure you bring those unwanted sunnies along to swap for a voucher and bag yourself a brand-spanking new pair!
