GET THE BASICS FIRST

Think about it • Before we prepare our self on how to

pass successful a job interview, we should get the basics first.

• It is always a good start what counts the most.

• Lets do it from the basics then.

Recruitment Job Portals: Get your profile and your electronic

resume ready and neat, and lets go. Examples :

Monster: Naukri. Gulftalent:

Newspaper & Radio: I am not sure if you are still interested on

those or if they still exists, but why not, if they still survive for the time being.

Word of the mouth: Stay connected to your friends and work/

study colleagues. They do often get the leads.

Get Ready for the interview

Well Structured Resume:

get into course or pay and invest to building up your resume if you don't have a good resume.

Initiate an active email account Get a phone that works most of the day !! Check your emails & answer your call.

Active in Social Media: Employers may approach through that

only,: Especially in LinkedIn; therefore, try to check

your emails and other social media accounts at least once a week if not more.

All the rest of social media: check them at least once a month.

Keep learning: An Experienced Person:

Acquiring new skills/ new knowledge New certificate as much as you can, or

basically keep reading. A fresh school or college graduates:

try to get into an in-job training program even for a month or few weeks.

Relax: Don't stress yourself. Sleep well Stay health

Five Ws What:

Get a full information about what is the interview for.

What is the job you will be interviewed at? Ask for a job description/ if you didn't get one

then Google it please.

Who: Who has contact you? What is he or she's role in that

organization? Who will be in the interview panel and

what their roles are. Phone as an initial interview:

Who will be interviewing you ?

Where: Where the interview will take place?

Try to get a location map . If it is a New area, try to go to check the place before

the interview or come at the day of the interview ahead of time.

Another country or a city:make sure it is very close to the interview place,

to avoid delay or hectic journey.

Which : which organization is this?

Try to check about the organization. Try to read about it before the interview; Get to the basics :try to make sure it is a real

one in the first place.

When:

Don't forget, take note of the dates of all the day itself, the month, and even the year !!
