SALARY CUTS – ALL STAFF

Salaries over €65,000 and greater are reduced as follows

*Pro-Rata staff on salaries of €65,000 also affected

Salary Reduction

Any amount up to €80,000

Applies to all salary

5.5%

Any amount over €80,000 but not over

€150,000

8%

MAXIMUM DURING THE PERIOD OF AGREEMENT

ADDITIONAL WORKING HOURS• Admin/Library Staff move to 37 hours

• Consultation with IMPACT has to take place on increase in hours

• Proposed New Working Week

Mon – Thurs 9:00 – 1:00 and 2:00 – 5:30

Friday – 9:00 – 1:00 and 2:00 – 5:00

Currently no change to Flexitime Arrangements

NEW PAY MULTIPLIERS CALCULATED OVER 37 HOURS INSTEAD OF 35

HOURS

Staff who work 30 hours per week

• Current Pay Multiplier 30/35 = .8571

• New Multiplier 30/37 = .8108
