• In response to community requests, an aquatics facility
was brought forth to the CAC for consideration in a
November 2015 bond election
• After lengthy deliberation, the CAC reached consensus
that there is not enough information about the scope of
the project to proceed at this time

Georgetown ISD Citizen’s Advisory Committee
It was moved by Bob Brent and seconded by Dr. Ron
Swain to adopt a recommendation that the
Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees pursue the planning
process to explore and identify the district’s aquatic facility
needs utilizing Maintenance & Operations funds. It was
unanimously approved by the Citizens Advisory Committee.
