Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate,

fully God and fully man, one Person in two

natures. Jesus – Israel’s Messiah – was

conceived through the Holy Spirit, and born of

the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was

crucified under Pontius Pilate, arose bodily

from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits

at the right hand of God the Father as our

High Priest and Advocate.

What Next?

IncarnationWe believe Jesus was

conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld

His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace

Sinless LifeWe believe Jesus lived a sinless life

19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also

by one Man’s obedience

many will be made righteousRom. 5:19

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize

with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are,

yet without sin.Heb. 4:15

CrucifixionWe believe Jesus was

crucified under Pontius Pilate.

24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a

tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the

multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You

see to it.”26 Then he released Barabbas to

them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be

crucified.Matthew 27:24,26

Resurrection

We believe Jesus arose bodily from the dead.

4 …He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen

by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred

brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was

seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also,

as by one born out of due time.1 Corinthians 15:4-7

14 …if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty... 17 And if Christ is not

risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!...

19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most

Ascension into Heaven

We believe Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right

hand of God the Father.

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands

and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was

parted from them and carried up into heaven.

Luke 24:50

…who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person,

and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself

purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

MinistryWe believe Jesus is our

High Priest…

26 For such a High Priest…27 does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did

once for all when He offered up Himself.
