Geometry Karate Rules

• Make sure you have enough room around you.

• Follow your sensei • Only talking is geometry words!

POINT• Names an exact location in a space!

Named: Point A

Action: Punch the Air!

LINE• A line extends without end in

opposite directions.

Named: Line AB, AB, bA, BA

Action: Arms out Straight!

Line Segment• Segment means part. It is a part of a

line named by two end points.

Named: Line AB, AB, bA, BA

Action: Arms out Straight WITH 2 FIsts

Ray • Part of a line. Has one endpoint and

continues on in one direction.

Parallel Lines• Lines in a plane that are always the

same distance apart and never intersect

Action: forearms form vertical or horizontal lines
