3. Points

  • A point is a percise location in space. It is labeled with a letter.

4. Points Point s A place repreasenting were a number is separated. 5. Line segment A point in a line 6. Ray Two points on a line that make it stop. 7. intersecting When two line cross. 8. perpendicular Intersecting as a right angle 9. paralell When two lines are evenly apert going the same way 10. Skew line 11. Triangles Triangles 12. acute When an angle is less than 90 degrees 13. obtuse When an angle is more than 90 degree. 14. right A right angle is alwase only 90 degrees 15. straight A line that never ends. 16. isosceles A triangle with two even sides. 17. scalene A triangle with no even sides. 18. Sum of internal angles A sum when you add a sides of a triangle. 19. vertex/verticals A corner of a shape. 20. complementary Two angles that add up to 90 degrees. 21. supplementary To or more angels that add up to 180 degrees 22. vertical/opposite When a line is pointing up. 23. adjacent An angle next to another 24. quadrilateral A square with four conecting sides 25. trapezoid A trapezoid is a shape with one set of parallel sides. 26. parallelogram A parallelogram is a shape with two congruent sides. 27. rectangle A shape with two sets congruent sides 28. rhombus A shape with four congruent sides. 29. square A shape with four congruent sides and angles. 30. Area of rectangle Multiply the base with the with then divide in half. 10 10 x5 50 50 2 25 5 31. Area of square When you add all four sides together then divide in half. 4 4 4 4 32. Area of trapezoid When you add all the sides together then divide it. 33. Area of parallelogram When you add all four sides together then divide in half. 34. Circles 35. chord A pass through the circle from one point to another. 36. Diameter A pass through the middle of the circle. 37. Radius Thedistancefrom the middle of the circle to the side. 38. CircumferenceThe distance around the circe. 39. Arc The distance on the out side edge of the circle. 40. Area The space inside the circle.
