He worked part-time for me when I was first electedand while he was at university. I’ve since workedclosely with him as a councillor.

Simon Crean leaves big shoes to fill. It is possible thatby selecting a candidate of Geoff’s capacity, we might

Geoff is one of the few people to have been a fullmember of the Council of Australian Governments(COAG) – serving alongside Kevin Rudd, John Brumbyand the other state and territory leaders.

He knows how to get things done because he hasa long history of getting results, influencing policyoutcomes and communicating effectively in the stateand national media.
