What is Genre ?

Film genre helps the cinematic industry as a whole by helping the audience choose which film they want to see

is the term for any category of literature or other forms of art or culture, e.g. music, and in general, any type of discourse, whether written or spoken, audial or visual, based on some set of stylistic criteria

Horror Horror films are unsettling movies that strive to elicit the emotions of fear, disgust and horror from viewers

Thriller
