• The genre of my film is Romantic Comedy."Romantic comedy films are movies with light-

hearted, humorous plot lines, centred on romantic ideals such as a true love able to

surmount most obstacles."

How I will Pursue the Genre...

• I feel that my plot line is light hearted because of the way it is completely made up.

• It is light hearted because not many people will want to plan their wedding without a man, but falling in “love” is always a light hearted subject.

• It has a humorous plot line and is centred around true love.

• The plot line in my film is very humorous for example when Emma begins to talk to the teenage boys on the computer it will be funny for the audience.

• It is of course centred around true love because of the marriage concept.
