    INTRODUCTION

The HALO Smart Sensor can be integrated into Genetec Security Center Video Management Software. There are two layers to the integration. The first layer is the Visualization layer, where the MJPEG stream from HALO Smart Sensor is captured by Genetec is the same manner as an IP Camera. The stream can be recorded and displayed in the Security Desk client.

Note: This integration was tested using version 5.8 of Genetec Security Center with a HALO Smart Sensor running v 1.74 firmware.

The second layer of the integration is the Event Messaging integration. ASCII Messages can be sent from HALO Smart Sensor to Genetec to trigger events and actions. This integration does require that the Genetec ASCII plugin be installed and licensed. See Genetec ASCII Plugin Administrator Guide v2.3 for installation and setup instructions.

Note: This integration was tested using version 5.8 of Genetec Security Center with a HALO Smart Sensor running v 1.58 firmware.
